It has been a while between blogs, not that the kids have not provided material, but the P's have not had the time and energy. Today, however, Paige once again threaded the needle with her quick mind and caught Marsha by surprise.
On their way to volleyball practice, they were having a conversation about playing in closets and making forts and such when Paige asked Marsha about if she ever went in her fort in her room when she was bad.
Marsha said, "Yeah, sometimes."
Paige asked, "were you sassy sometimes too?"
"Sometimes," replied Marsha.
"Did you talk back to Grandma and Grandpa?" asked Paige.
"Yeah, I got sent to my room sometimes for being bad." replied Marsha.
"Then I got that from you Mom!" exclaimed Paige in her delightful laughing, aha, voice.
Marsha just had to call me from the road to tell me that little story.
That is right, here is the tree and at the base is out little nut, Paige. Do we think Quinn will be this way too? Depends on whether he gives up head butting the couch soon.
